12x50 Pentax PCF II

I bought these binoculars for my husband as a Christmas gift about three, maybe four years ago. He enjoys bird watching and gazing out at the sea to catch a glimpse of dolphins and such as that.
They were around $150.00, which wasn't too bad, I had seen several in the store that were well over $400.
There were also lots of binoculars that were extremely cheap, but I had feared that you might get what you pay for. These binoculars work really well in my opinion.
The image through the lenses is clear, except the edges, which I go into further detail below, I wear glasses and I can see through the lenses very clearly without my frames, which is nice, because trying to wear glasses and use binoculars ends up in a painful nose for me. They are very lightweight, I believe the box said about 32oz. The image is brightest during the day, but I think that would be with all of them. At dusk the images get a little blurry and out of focus. But for something like hunting, bird watching, or just watching your local wildlife, these are very good binoculars.
At times adjustment is necessary because the edges of the lenses seem to blur out and it can be a little annoying, but it isn't so bad that you can't enjoy the binoculars.
They would also be great for kids who don’t mind a little bit of a poor view on the edges of your vision. They are very decent for the money. My husband seems to enjoy them!
