Bushnell 10x25 Powerview Compact Binoculars

I needed a compact, relatively inexpensive (no more than $50) pair of binoculars to use as opera glasses- I got season's tickets to opera and ballet, and like to go to plays, and thought they would make it easier to be sitting in the back of the theatre every time since that is where the cheap seats are!

These are pretty good. I know that you pay for lightweight pairs, so this pair are okay considering I paid less than $30 for them.

On the other hand, with glass lenses being used in them, there is a limit as to how lightweight they can be. All that being said, these are pretty good.

My only complaint is that they did not come with a neck strap. I am trying to figure out what to do about that. They come with a nice carrying case, and the weight is reasonable to be holding up to my eyes frequently over a period of a few hours.

I will probably spring for a more expensive pair in the future, as I would like a pair that have a built-in neckstrap and are made a bit more ergonomically to be held- althought the weight is reasonable, they do not sit well in my hands, but I suppose that is more of a personal preference than a quality issue.

Not bad for the price, okay choice if you are on a budget.
