Bushnell 7X35 ModelNumber:13-3410

by Douglas
(Lindsay, Oklahoma. U.S.A)

A entry level set of binoculars that has a few good features. The Insta-Focus system can help you to focus fast with it's seesaw design to rock back and forth quickly, the diopter setting lens on one eye piece works OK, lens rubber folds back and overall adjustment for eye distance works smoothly and holds OK.

The lens caps and case are useful to keep the set from dust, though the case is not a good case to work with if you are outdoors and/or clumsy as it has no strap (though the binoculars have straps themselves that feed through the bags flaps.) and no padding, the lens caps are OK but are slide on type and, of course, can slide off easily to. The view is OK and sharp enough, not the brightest lens formula and has a smaller collector than the more costly sets.

It is still acceptable for most viewing and at this price good. Not to good for a serious bird watcher but acceptable for those closer birds in suburban and urban settings due to the lower power of the binoculars and also the darker view not suited for the thick forest. But for a casual bird watcher to use as as a set for lawn sightings they work fine.

For contractors or other occupational needs they are relatively reliable but sort of heavy compared to some models and more prone to breaking but offer a sharper picture over some compact ones in the same price range.
