Bushnell binoculars 10x25
I have a pair of Bushnell binoculars. I don’t know if there is a model number, but they say 10x25, and 302 Ft. at 1000 Yds. This is a nice compact binocular – they’re only about 4-5 inches long. The barrels roll inward for storage, making them only a couple of inches wide. A storage case was included (key word “WAS”!).
There is a main focus control and also a focus for the right lens. The focus is a little weird for me. The main focus control focuses the left lens. Then there is another focus control for the right lens. Nice if your eyes focus differently, but it makes it difficult to bring objects into focus in a hurry.
I like these binoculars for bird watching, especially if I’m taking them with me for a hike. They’re lightweight and compact and I hardly know I’m carrying them when I’m walking.
I’ve been able to successfully identify birds at closer ranges. But for serious bird watching, I’d have to keep looking – these take too long to focus, and the image doesn’t get clear enough to identify details, especially if the bird is a ways off.
I think my husband originally bought these binoculars for deer hunting. They probably work quite well for this – you don’t need to identify small details on deer.
