Bushnell PermaFocus 7x35 model #17-3507

I got these binoculars as a gift not too long ago. I mainly use them when I go to football games or other sporting events. The information that came with it said they were made for outdoor activities. They are focus free which makes them great to use.

I have been able to see action on the field when I am at a game easily without adjusting the focus at any range.

They are also fairly light weight—about 22 ounces. The pair of binoculars I had before this pair was much heavier and much more difficult to carry around with me. I actually bring these binoculars with me more places because they are so much lighter. I just toss them in my backpack.

The one down side to these binoculars is that they are not water proof. I didn’t think it would be that big of deal but was at a game once and they played in the rain. I missed much of what was going on because I was scared to use them and get them wet. They have actually gotten rained on few times since then though. The first time I didn’t notice a problem, they dried fine, the time after that there was a little fogging on the lenses. They still work though, just a little hazy.

This is a good basic binocular for light usage. From my experience with it, if you are doing lots of outdoor activities where you need binoculars I would get a more durable model. But this one is great for general use.
