Bushnell Powerview 12 x 25 binoculars

by Rachael
(Brighton, CO USA)

I love this little pair of binoculars. I had purchased a much more expensive brand previously, and was disappointed in how they worked. They were complicated, and difficult to use.

These binoculars, on the other hand, are simple to adjust. I purchased them for my husband as a gift as he is an avid hunter.

He needed something that was compact, and easy to use, and inexpensive enough to be replaced should they fall into a stream or something else. They cost around $20.00, and were worth every single penny. So far, they have lasted an entire hunting season. They have been dropped, misplaced, and subjected to rain and snow, and they are still going strong.

The only minor flaw is that the "hinge" needs to be frequently adjusted and tightened, as a lot of folding and unfolding these binoculars, plus the constant adjustments needed when going from one user to another, have caused the hinge to loosen somewhat. I highly recommend these binoculars to anybody looking for a decent, inexpensive pair of binoculars. I am going to be purchasing a second pair, so that I can carry them in my purse to concerts or other events where seating may be questionable.

They are small enough to fit into a regular purse, and durable enough to not get damaged through regular wear and tear. It is a superior product at a really good price. I give it five stars overall, and will recommend these binoculars to anybody looking for simple, basic binoculars.
