Bushnell Powerview 8x21

by Kunyi Li
(Anchoarage, Alaska, USA)

I bought these binoculars a while ago and I love them. It has great viewing quality and the price is pretty decent. For a binocular under 20, the range and clarity it offers is unbeatable.

I bought these because I have heard of the Bushnell name before and several equipment we work with in my work is with Bushnell so I know it's a trustable brand.

I thought for such a price these binoculars are going to be toys, turns out they are actually quite functional. The viewing angle provided by the 8x21 is great and I can see things from far away without too much shaking. The quality is solid and durable, I brought this to my cross country trip from Yellowstone to New York and it provided a good use for its value.

Some cons of this binocular are that the holes are too small for my eyes to see. It was a small nuisance that I did not enjoy since from time to time my eye lashes get caught and it messes up my viewing experience. Also I never liked the strings that came with this model, it was very fragile and easily broken.

Overall these were great binoculars. I bought these for recreational uses and I will purchase one for my sons and daughters, and even one for my parents! They will love this binocular.

Very powerful
by: Kevin

I recently got a pair of these as a gift. I use them for sporting events and things of the like (crazy baseball fan). They're very powerful, much more so than a pair of no names I had been using for all too long. These binoculars are also very very compact. It's really easy to just through them in your pocket, head to the game, and save some money with a nosebleed seat!

All that said focus is a little hard. This is because you have to spin multiple nobs to change the focus. Like one side could be in focus whereas the other could be fuzzy as all get-out. this isn't a big deal if you know what your doing. From what I hear Bushnell is a trusted name. I would say so by the performance of my pair.

Great price too. 13 bucks! You can't beat that with a stick. No sir.these also come with a very substantial strap. So feel free to lean over the wall for that ball. It's no string. After putzing around the internet, I have found that people love this model for this type of activity. People use them for Broadway, And even Nascar.

The one thing I'm told is that these binoculars need a decent amount of light to be really 100 percent effective. I have never experienced this, but then again i really only use them at the ball park. In Closing I would say that these are well worth the money, and serve their intended purpose.
