Bushnell Powerview Model 131056

by M Delehanty
(Ruther Glen, VA, USA)

Bushnell Powerview Binoculars have all the qualities you need in a basic pair of binoculars. You can count on Bushnell to make a quality product that is versatile and durable.

You might be like me. Over the years I have had several brands of binoculars, but I keep coming back to the ones that work well. I still have the first pair of binoculars I ever owned. Bushnell made them. I got them over 40 years ago and they still work just as well as they did way back then. The only thing I don’t like about the old pair is the weight around my neck. After wearing them all day, they can give you a pain in the neck – literally! The newer models have gotten lighter. That can make a big difference in a long hike.

The main use for binoculars is to be able to see things up close. The 10X50mm lens offers great viewing and is easy to hold steady when looking at something for more than a few seconds. They are perfect for observing wildlife. The adjustability of the Bushnell binoculars makes it easy to use. There are some less expensive brands that are not even worth carrying because they are so difficult to adjust. By the time you get them in focus, what you are looking at has moved out of sight.

There is one thing that is a must with binoculars. They must be easy to look through. This newer Bushnell model has made it a lot easier to look through when wearing glasses. The eyecups fold out of the way so you can get up close without having the view blocked. This small change made it worth buying the second pair of Bushnells!
