Galileo TS-1025

by Dustin
(Tennessee)

I recently purchased a new set of binoculars made by Galileo (Model TS-1025) as a replacement for my old binoculars that I used for watching sporting events. The TS-1025 is a compact-size set of binoculars with glare reduction, 10x25 zoom, and a minimum focusing distance of 18'. I have been very satisfied with my purchase.

While the brand was somewhat new to me, this pair of binoculars outperforms any compact models that I have ever used. The zoom is more than sufficient for everyday tasks like watching wildlife or using at a football game or concert. The coated lenses provide great glare reduction and the fold down eye cups are convenient for those people with glasses. I have had no problems viewing objects with contacts or eyeglasses.

The binoculars are compact enough to store in a pocket or jacket and very lightweight. They also come with a lifetime warranty and I have heard very good things about Galileo's customer service. The entire enclosure is completely surrounded by a molded rubber exterior making them very rugged for outdoor use. While convenient for needs like sports, etc., these binoculars may not be for those looking for a high-powered set of binoculars for important tasks. I believe these would make a great secondary pair for other uses that don't require a high zoom and recreational activities.

I have enjoyed this pair of binoculars very much and have experienced no problems whatsoever while using them. This was definitely a worthwhile purchase for me and I look forward to buying other Galileo models in the future.
