Lockheed Martin 4x30 Gift Binoculars

by M

I received these binoculars as a gift when interviewing for an engineering position at Lockheed Martin at a college fair. They are blue and black with a bit of white, adjustable for the width of your eyes and with a focus adjuster.

These are 4 by 300 binoculars which work quite well for slightly magnifying things.

Quite good for concerts, plays, musicals, sports events, and other performances during which you are sitting far away from the action. The binoculars have a thin strap attached to them that extends for about 1 foot.

They display a Lockheed Martin logo on both sides of the binoculars (left and right) that is written in white. The total length of the binoculars is just over three inches.

The binoculars come in a black pouch which is closed with Velcro. The pouch has the Lockheed Martin logo on the top and a belt loop at the back.
I have been very happy with these binoculars for the simple tasks that I mentioned above. They even work okay for bird watching as well as watching other small animals.

This is certainly not a high powered pair of binoculars (it is given out free at interviews after all!) but definitely a great gift pair. The binoculars adjust for eyes from two inches to a little under three inches.

The one thing they are not good at is viewing things that are relatively close, for example inside a house. They close-by images are very blurry. In general, great set of binoculars.
