Mid-Size Vortex Spitfire 10x32

by burg

Like anything there are a million different pairs of binoculars to chose from. Depending on what your going to use them for is a good thing to know before you go out looking for a pair to purchase.

When I was out on the market for a good pair of binoculars I went to a few different outdoor stores and shopped around. Though they are small they can get kind of costly. I wanted mine for when I go out in the woods looking for small game tracks and deer tracks. I wanted a pair that I would be able to use in the shade of the woods and see the ground just feet in front of me. So I settled on a the Mid size Vortex Spitfire 10x32.

It’s the size up from the pocket and under the full size, just right for me and what I use them for. They are water proof so I can take them out and use them still if it starts to rain. They are also fog proof which is awesome for out in the woods on the rainy spring days when the critters are on the go.

The binoculars I went with had a neck strap which was almost essential for how I use them. If they didn’t have a neck strap, I would have to dig them out of my jacket pocket every time I wanted to use them, and that would get aggravating. I just tuck them into my shirt or jacket, even though they are extremely durable, so they don’t get scratched up or ripped off by a branch or something while I’m not using them. They also came with a neat carrying or storing case for when your not using them.

I’m very glad I went with the Spitfire, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who does the same kind of tracking.
