Nikon Action EX 8 x 40

by Benjamin
(Seattle, WA, USA)

I bought these binoculars for bird watching at a particular time when I was searching for owls. They work great in low light conditions, especially for their price range.

The binoculars come with lens caps, a comfortable strap and a black, padded velcro case. The image is very sharp and beautiful. The body of the binoculars feels very protective and strong and the design is ergonomic.

They are a bit heavy, but again, at this price range and with this quality of optics, this is what you get. I highly recommend these and I would buy them again. As it so happened, about a week after buying these I was out on a walk at dusk in a heavily forested park and I came across a Barred Owl sitting on a branch.

I quietly took out the binoculars and viewed the owl up close. It was pretty dark at the time but I could still make out great detail in the image.
