Olympus 10 Power Binocular: 10x24 PC

I do not like this pair of binoculars. The worst part about them, aside from the fact that they’re not very powerful, is that they are really uncomfortable on your face—for whatever reason, the spacing between the two eye-holes is just not right, regardless of how much time you spend fidgeting with the dial.
Another annoying thing is how the two little lens caps basically don’t stay on, and are constantly falling off. As there is only one variable to adjust, they are very hard to focus enough to be useful.
The rubber enclosures around the lenses which I assume are there to block out light are not only uncomfortable against your face, but also impede the field of vision when I try to use them. The eye cups are nice, however, in that they will not scratch your eyeglasses, and that they do fold back if you prefer not to use them.
One nice thing about this pair of binoculars is that it does come with a few accessories including a lens cleaning cloth, adjustable strap (although the strap is very thin and digs into your neck if you actually let it support the weight of the binoculars), and case. The strap is also made of very cheap material, not much thicker than ribbon.
In summary, I would not recommend this pair of binoculars for anyone who intends to use them for the careful study of any subject material one wishes to magnify, whether it is opera, wildlife, or sporting events.
