Pentax DCF MP 8x28 Binocular

by Asha Jayaraman
(Palani, Tamilnadu, India)

I bought a Pentax DCF MP 8x28 binocular with excellent night vision capability at an online exhibition offer for home appliances around six months back. It is a gorgeous piece of art enabling the whole family to spot things around us from a comfortable distance.

The binocular is light to carry and waterproof. We occasionally swim and enjoy underwater explorations with the binocular that offers a fantastic experience.

The Pentax DCF MP 8x28 binocular is considerably cheaper and its advantages overweigh its price. The lens is of 28mm size with 8-x magnification so that the images are very clear and bright. The binocular offers sharper images and one can have an enjoyable view from a long distance. It is more durable and has a weight of around 450gms.

Binoculars facilitate observation of remote objects in 3-dimension with the help of two magnifying glasses placed adjacent to each other. Using both eyes to see the object, makes it clearly visible. Individuals for personal reasons like hunting, bird watching, sight seeing, etc commonly use them. The army, air force and the navy use binoculars for signs of any danger. The greatest application of binoculars is in astronomy.

Various choices for binoculars are available in the market. Mini, compact, standard porro-prism, zoom, roof waterproof, larger aperture and porro-prism binoculars are some types offered according to individual necessities.

People often make comparisons by verifying convenient facilities like water-resistance, focal point, projection of colors, night vision, attractive designs, weight, clarity, distance of image, etc. When the binocular is not used, the cover protects it.
