I purchased these binoculars as a present to myself last Christmas for the purpose of viewing the lake outside of the window at my home. These binoculars magnify 10 x 25 at 288 ft.@1000yds. They are not the most powerful lenses, however, they serve me well for looking at the water and birds outside. I can spot the turtles, ducks and rare birds and get a clear view. These binoculars are very inexpensive. ou can probably find them for less than $20. They come with a small case to carry them in and there is a long neck strap attached to them for easy carrying. For the price these can't be beat. My binoculars are black as well as the case and they have an adjustable knob on them which allows me to be able to pinpoint clarity to my liking. They fold together so that they fit more compact inside the case which closes with velcro. They are very sturdy and reliable. They also came with a very small micro fiber cleansing cloth to wipe the lenses off with if they get smudged. If you are looking for inexpensive quality binoculars for things like trips to the zoo, bird watching, water viewing, concerts, shows or any other event, I would recommend this pair of binoculars. However, don't expect them to magnify things too far off. For stronger viewing binoculars I think you will need to spend more money. Overall, these binoculars get high marks and are just what I needed for my viewing purposes.
