The Spion 20X-140X70 Zoom Binocular

I bought this pair of binoculars for my car when I go to trips and scenic places. I have a small pair of binoculars that I take around with me but they don't take me up close as I would like to when I am out and about on the weekends. The Spion is too big to take with you hiking but if you have your car as a base and just go out for short trails to viewing points the Spion can add a lot of zoom to what you were used till now. The zoom ability is so much fun and helpful you will find yourself playing with it all the time to capture and crop the view you want. It is very strong magnification, I never found myself needed any more, and I love to hear all those around me with their small binoculars ask what is going on out there because they can't see much. The other main downside of the Spion binoculars is that when you do get to the high zooming any small movement causes a great deal of jitter to the viewing and if you can't carry with you a tripod for them you better find great support for yourself so that the hands won't shake too much and make the viewing impossible. All in all if you are looking for a powerful scope that you will carry mostly in your car, boat or home this is the pair to go with.
