Victory 8x42FL T

I need a pair of binoculars that are both durable and offer high resolution clarity. Because I use my binoculars for many purposes, such as hunting and bird watching, I need them to be versatile and to pack as much bang for my buck as possible. These have a large viewing field (that's crucial), and the focusing is top notch.

These are suitable for both night and day, which I was looking for. I like to take these out and night and look at the sky. Various planets, nebula, and the occasional event are picked up by these binoculars. The eye cups have got a good, comfortable fit, so if you have to have them against your face for long periods (like with hunting), they don't get uncomfortable.

These are nitro-sealed and fog proof, something I find especially useful for my early morning watching. Oklahoma is a foggy place a lot of the time, and I can't have my lenses getting muddy on me.

The body is durable, and has stood up to all the abuse I've given it. When it's not in my equipment bag, it's attached to my hip, or even occasionally banging around the glove compartment. I haven't experienced one chip, ding, or crack yet, which is more than I can say for most models. I don't believe they're ergonomic exactly, but they do fit comfortably in your hands.

These aren't really suited for casual purposes, given their specs and price. But for the serious watcher/hunter, I haven't used a better pair myself.
