Zhumell 8x42 Signature Waterproof Binoculars

I’ve spent my whole life in the Midwest. The only birds I ever saw were all the normal, regular ones like wrens, robins, bluebirds, cardinals, morning doves and an occasional bald eagle in the winter along the Mississippi River.

A few years ago I moved to west central Florida and oh my !! what a new world was opened up to me. I love bird watching and immediately found a couple of bird watching groups to join. I was the amateur and they were so helpful to bring me up to speed on the different types of birds I might expect to see; they recommended books that best showed the birds of Florida.

But the best advice they gave me was what kind of binoculars to buy. The kind they recommended were waterproof (didn’t need that in Iowa - I didn’t even know there was such a thing as waterproof binoculars) and were, I guess, specially designed for bird watching. They were the best binoculars I’ve even had.

The magnification was 8x, which was perfect for birdwatching and the focus was extraordinary. The were easy to adjust and they were lighweight and easy to handle. I couldn’t be happier with my new binoculars.
